(Apurímac, 11 de febrero del 2017).- El Ministerio de Agricultura y Riego (MINAGRI) –a través del Programa de Compensaciones para la Competitividad (AGROIDEAS), entregó 14 tractores, maquinaria e infraestructura agrícola, así como material de abonamiento a 15 organizaciones agrarias de la región Apurímac con la finalidad de que más de 500 agricultores logren acceder al mercado nacional e internacional con productos de calidad, informó el titular del sector, José Hernández.
El funcionario aseveró que con este apoyo, el sector espera ampliar las áreas de cultivos de 1,352 a 2,110 hectáreas lo que hará potenciar la producción de papa, quinua, maíz, trigo, frijol panamito, habas, avena, tarwi, olluco, chuño y cebada. Para ello promoverá un monto total de inversión de 7.3 millones de soles de los cuales cofinanciará –mediante AGROIDEAS- 5.7 millones de soles en la ejecución de 15 planes de negocios.
Como parte de la maquinaria e infraestructura entregada a los productores figuran arados de 3 discos, surcadoras tipo braza, desgranadoras de maíz, seleccionadoras de granos, balanzas, 5,000 kilogramos de semillas certificadas de maíz, 1,800 kilos de semillas de haba cartificada, fertilizantes, mochilas fumigadoras, centro de almacenamiento y transformación de producto, vehículos para transporte de producto, entre otros.
Los problemas que se pretenden superar de estas 15 organizaciones es la baja productividad agrícola de sus tierras y las pérdidas económicas por no contar con maquinaria propia ni un adecuado sistema de abonamiento. “Los planes de negocios apuntan a que nuestros productores mejoren la calidad de sus productos y sean competitivos en los mercados más exigentes”, acotó Hernández Calderón.
A través del programa AGROIDEAS, solo en el 2016, el MINAGRI ha ejecutado 21 planes de negocios de adopción de tecnología en la región de Apurímac permitiendo potenciar 3,744 hectáreas de cultivo, mejorando la calidad de vida de 1,171 productores. “Trabajamos bajo mecanismos de asociatividad que generen más productividad y que permitan que los agricultores tengan más dinero en sus bolsillo”, puntualizó.

Es muy alentador ver iniciativas como esta, donde se entrega maquinaria, infraestructura y material de abonamiento a organizaciones agrarias de la región de Apurímac para potenciar su productividad y abrir mercados más amplios.
Algunos puntos destacables:
Al apoyar 15 organizaciones agrarias con la entrega de tractores, arados, surcadoras, semillas certificadas y otros insumos, el programa aborda una de las barreras más frecuentes en la agricultura de pequeña escala: la mecanización y acceso a tecnología.

El incremento proyectado de las áreas de cultivo, de 1 352 a 2 110 hectáreas, es un indicador concreto de cómo la intervención busca generar mayor escala productiva y por ende mejores ingresos para los productores beneficiados.

La articulación al mercado nacional e internacional, más allá del simple aumento de producción, es clave para que los beneficios sean sostenibles y no solo coyunturales: mejorar calidad, certificación de semillas, crecimiento de alianzas.
Para enriquecer aún más el impacto de esta intervención, sería positivo que:
Se incluyan mecanismos de seguimiento a mediano plazo para evaluar cómo la mejora tecnológica se traduce en ingresos reales, formalización de productores, acceso a nuevos canales de mercado y estabilidad económica de las familias agrarias.
Se promueva la formación técnica y empresarial dentro de las comunidades beneficiadas, de modo que la maquinaria entregada no sólo sea usada correctamente, sino que genere una cultura de gestión productiva sostenible.
Se publique de forma transparente la evolución de los indicadores (como hectáreas trabajadas, volumen de producción, valor de ventas, mejoras en la calidad del producto) para permitir a otros productores identificarse con el proceso y fomentar replicabilidad.
