(Lima, 01 de diciembre de 2016).- El Ministerio de Agricultura y Riego oficializó la designación del Ing. William Arteaga Donayre como el nuevo jefe del Programa de Compensaciones para la Competividad – AGROIDEAS mediante resolución ministerial N° 0576-2016-MINAGRI que rige a partir de hoy del presente.
Durante la ceremonia de presentación del nuevo funcionario, realizada en la sede del Programa AGROIDEAS, el Secretario General del Ministerio de Agricultura y Riego, José Luis Pastor Mestanza dio la bienvenida al flamante funcionario destacando su experiencia en el sector.
William Arteaga Donayre es Ingeniero Agrónomo de la Universidad Agraria La Molina, con especialidad en Economía, Administración y Planificación, Grado de Maestría en Economía mención en Comercio exterior y Finanzas Internacionales. Profesional con vasto conocimiento de la realidad del país en producción agrícola, agroindustrial, desarrollo rural, seguridad alimentaria y la Agroexportación .
Trabajo como coordinador general del Departamento de Agronegocios de Promperú, gerente de Agroindustrias de Prompex, ex director general de la Oficina de Planificación del Ministerio de Agricultura, ex director General de la Dirección General de Agroindustrias del Ministerio de Agricultura, ex gerente de la Asociación Peruana de Productores de Azúcar.
Ha llevado a cabo el programa de promoción internacional de los productos de agroexportación del Perú, en diferentes ferias internacionales en EEUU, Europa, Asia y Latinoamérica entre otros.
Con amplia experiencia en Gestión y Dirección, tanto en el sector privado como en el público, además he participado en diversos Foros nacionales e internacionales, referidos a los temas agrícolas, en las rondas de negociación de la Organización Mundial de Comercio (OMC), de los Tratados de Libre Comercio (TLC) con EEUU, MERCOSUR, la CAN, México y Chile.
Ha dictado conferencias en varios países y ha realizado varias prospecciones de los Mercados internacionales relacionados a la Agroexportación.
